First, I'd like to say that the cocktails we had were very unique and delicious and that one of the server's (a guy in his twenties with red-ish hair) was very helpful and nice. However, I am giving this place a one star because one of the staff members (a woman in her thirties/forties with long red-ish, curly-ish hair) was SUPER rude. When we came in, we were told to sit where ever we liked. There was only one table poorly placed on the side of the room with the bar, so we sat down there. Another table quickly opened up and, as we hadn't been served yet, we moved there. This staff woman came up and literally barked at us not to sit down because she wanted to give it to someone else. We obliged and moved back to the other table. She said this so harshly, I don't know what we did to warrant this from her. A couple minutes later, she came and leaned on the back of my chair, my partner and I both thought she was going to apologize for the way she had spoken to us. Instead she looked at me rudely and made an awkward, mocking sort of laugh at my face and then said "um. could I see both of your IDs?" I was flabbergasted by the way she was asking us, like she thought we were 16 year old criminals sneaking into the bar (my partner and I are mid-late twenties and he has a sizeable beard and looks much older). This was made even worse by the fact that she wasn't even our server - it was just out of the blue, we hadn't even ordered yet! I gave her my ID and she nearly threw it back at me and walked away. She proceeded to glare at me all night as she walked around the room. I was so shocked and offended I nearly felt like crying and was SUPER close to walking out. My partner was offended too and asked me if we should leave. The only reason we didn't is because I knew he had heard good things about the cocktails and had really wanted to try them and because our server (the guy) was very nice. The drinks and food were great, the atmosphere was cozy next to the bay, but I doubt we will ever go back because of this experience. It's a shame.
The new lead bartenders are pushing the boundaries in all the right places on their new weekly cocktail menus. The BEST place in Everett for quality drinks and food by far. Great patio for summer and it's also a distillery! You can buy the gin or vodka that was just in your drink. They also offer yoga on certain Saturdays and free cocktail lessons first Tuesday of each month. How do I know all of this? Because I LOVE this place!
The first Tuesday of every month they do a bartending class for free and it is fun and educational. I would get there a little early to get a good spot.
Staff was so rude, we were trying to sit by the bar and were willing to wait but they forced us to sit in the other room, kept trying to get us to order food, and insulted us. Do yourself a favor, go to Anthony's next door, sit in the bar with gorgeous water views and order this vodka in a well made martini with excellent food and service.
One of the coolest bars in Everett. View of the marina and amazing cocktails with their own spirits. I can't wait to go back!
This is one of our new go to places. The atmosphere relaxed. The food and drinks are excellent. I haven't had something I don't like yet. Everything is fresh and made to order. The know how to make their drinks right.
