You can't get the receptionist to help you. They pass you off to someone else and they don't even explain why. It's very frustrating for someone to seek help for whatever reasons they have and the person on the phone is the most unhelpful person they cone across. They need to replace their receptionist with someone who is actually willing to do more than pass the buck. At least explain what we need to do so we're not feeling even more helpless and frustrated.
Its hard enough to reach out and seek help when you have any kind of mental disability going on. But when you take that steps and reach out to make an appointment to get some help and you finally get ahold of someone they cant even find an appointment for me and my spouse until 3 weeks out. After waiting 3 weeks for my appointment I didn't receive a reminder call for my appointment so I called the day of my appointment to find out the time of our appointments so we wouldn't miss them after waiting all that time and was told the receptionist couldn't look that up and someone would need to call me back I told them I really needed to know the time so I didn't miss my appointment the guy said someone will call you back ASAP. 7 days later I still had NOT received a call from this clinic to check up on me, apologize for not contacting me, try to set up another day or time, NOTHING. I called the clinic on the 7th day and asked why this had happened and if they could set me up for another appointment as it has been over a month since I originally contacted them. The receptionist said she would need to call me back again. I stressed that I was not confident in there ability to call patients back and she reassured me that she would call. 5 hours later 2 hours before they were going to close and still no call so I follow up with them again. The receptionist again says I will need to call you back to set an appointment. I said no I want to speak with your supervisor the supervisor was very nice but told me this happens a lot at there clinic she then set me up for an appointment a week out, then an hour later I was called by the receptionist to reschedule so I have to wait another 2 weeks. This is so sad and very troubling that I just feel like giving up and throwing in the towel. I have BPD, sever PTSD and anxiety as well as depression its hard enough to get out of bed everyday and coming up on my fathers 1 year anniversary of his passing this month. I should not have to beg them for an appointment. The front desk workers make you feel as though you are not important and not worth there time. This is far from okay when dealing with mental health patients. I have been waiting for this appointment so I can get my meds adjusted to the proper doses and be a functioning member of society but they treat you like the could give two sh**s about anyone but them selves here. I don't know if I can for see further treatment here when I have not even had my first appointment and I already feel unwelcomed. I transferred from Bellingham Sea Mar and had high hopes for this clinic. I never had this much trouble in Bellingham.
Maria that answers the phones is a complete moron, rude and condescending. How do you expect people to get help with people like her answering your phones and as first contact? She basically refused to set an appointment for me. Really nice lady......
This place is a complete joke in every aspect. The therapists are mediocre at best and the girls at the front desk are the most incompetent and uncaring idiots I have ever come across. They have zero idea what their job is or how to do it. I would get better results from an elephant with a couple chimps at the front desk. I recommend going ANYWHERE but here.
