While the food was good and the service was good, I couldn't help feeling that the owner must be one cheap individual. Here's what I mean. I eat at Dennys all over the state quite often. This is the FIRST time that the value menus were not on the table. When I asked where they were the response was that they don't put them out because the don't make enough money on them. They also had a sign posted that they only accept PAPER coupons. While most places have gone to accepting online coupons it seems to me to be a convenient way to get out of accepting a coupon.
It's Denny's! You really shouldn't be ask me about Denny's or have a need to read a review. At least with regards to their food. Typical American diner based foods - plenty of options, breakfast all day, large plates with lots of calories, nothing that screams high quality must have. That said, sometimes you just want a plate of good, home town, comfort food. Or you're drunk / hung over and need food in your belly. Denny's meets the bill either way. The four star rating is not for the food, but rather the service. This location has some great waiters and waitresses that make the experience worth returning for.
I'm notorious for never finishing even half my plate at chain restaurants so to go to one and finish the whole thing means this place must be doing something right . the food was so good . service was good - very attentative. would recommend.
Just another instance of your well known Denny's. Food is what we expected. The place is a life saver for travelers who need a quick bite late at night. The attendant was incredibly nice and the place was surprisingly busy for a Friday at 1am.
Staff is always friendly and welcoming. To go orders seem slow sometimes but I'll deal. Still worth it to be able to enjoy yummy food at home.
