So i work monday through friday 7 to 5 in freeland. I managed to get out of work early for once so i went to gef my marriage certificate coppies in order to do my name change. I called ahead to make sure it was there. The lady on the phone was super nice. But between the traffic abd ferry, i made it there with 10 minutes left before they closed. I was standing there with one person infront of me. A lady walked of after passing me a few times and asked what i needed and if it would be quick because they were closing soon. I let her know what i needed, gave her my first and last name, my husbands first and last abs the day we got married. She recorded everyrhing down. She walked away abd got the papers. She came back and gave me the papers. Did not think to check to ses if they were the correct ones. I walked all the way down to the parking garage, looked at fhe papers....... they were someone else's.... i turned around to walk up and now since it is closed tge doors are locked and the elevatore wont go up. I called and no one would answer.... this was 2 minutes after tgey closed. In the end this is very frustrating because i only had one day i could do it, the lady was kind of quick with me and on top of that she gave me someone else's papers that were not even close to my information! I am planning to call them monday.....hopefully this can be sorted out.
